Job Description Survey Data Technician will be responsible for compiling staffing reports and progress reports, producing survey data, and building as-built or base mapping for natural gas pipeline projects. Technician will be assigned to survey crews in the field at times to collect data.
Candidate Specification The ideal candidate will possess the following:
oExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson, Trimble Business Center, and Excel.
oPrevious pipeline surveying experience.
oExperience in both conventional and GPS survey.
oFamiliarity with commonly used surveying terms and with the use and care of survey tools and other survey field equipment used for measuring, sighting, and leveling.
oStrong work ethic and team-player attitude.
oStrong technical, documentation, and organizational skills.
